FTJA ("we") runs ftja.space, a board of remote jobs. This page says what we collect when you use it, why, who helps us, and what you can ask of us.
What we collect
- Nothing to browse. You can read the boards without an account.
- When you sign in (for dynamic filters): your email address, and, with Google, the name and picture Google shares. We keep when you signed up and last signed in.
- Usage, with your consent: pages you view and buttons you use, through analytics cookies. You can say no, and the site works the same.
- Technical data: our hosts keep short-lived logs (IP address, browser, time of request) to run the service and keep it safe.
Why
- To sign you in and give you the features of your account (our contract with you).
- To understand which pages and filters help people, so we can improve them (your consent, for analytics).
- To email you about your account. We will only send other emails, such as job digests, if you ask for them.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where data leaves the EU, these providers use the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Job postings
The jobs on the boards come from public postings. We show the employer's own words about remote work and link to the original posting.
How long we keep it
Your account data stays while your account exists. When you delete it, we remove it within 30 days. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@ftja.space. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies and local storage
Signing in stores a session in your browser so you stay signed in. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users by email when the change matters.
